- Pulling into start area, realizing this was a “trail” marathon
- Shortly thereafter, realizing what a “trail” marathon actually is
- No friends or family around to witness cool post-race trick where I squirt blood from my left middle toe by pressing down on toenail
Low-lights:
- No friends or family around to witnessed any portion of race, create photographic evidence of any kind
- Race now defunct, even Google doesn’t know about this marathon, passing reference to “that benign trail marathon” here is the only evidence that I can find on the entire interwebs
- Starting to think I imagined the whole thing
