Highlights:
- Successfully took two small children, got on a plane, flew to St. Louis, did a bunch of stuff and flew back home…with a slight assist from Bill and Marge
- Brought it in under 3:20, fourth fastest marathon of my career
- Shannon and I simultaneously conquered our respective fears of tight spaces and heights, got to the top of the Arch.
Low-lights:
- Luke’s emergency pee break on the bushes under the Gateway Arch, possible desecration of a U.S. National Historic Landmark
- Luke’s inability to appreciate the pageantry of the Cardinals’ opening day
- Luke’s emergency poop on the return flight, definite desecration of airplane bathroom
